Agnes Lorina Wilson
her birth/maiden name, which she changed in later life to the name that is now shown, after being known by numerous other aka's.

This woman was reportedly born at sea, on the USS Montgomery; mother Julia (Simek or Pappados) Wilson arrived in this country (from Czechoslovakia) after her first and only daughter's birth, and raised 'Joann' and her brother Anthony in New York City.

'Joann' (Josephine) graduated HS in Manhattan. She produced five children; was legitimately married to a first and second husband, with whom she produced her first two children: a female named Geraldine (NY), and another female named Lynn (CA), whose father she was married to in December of 1947, at the Lutz Wedding Chapel in Needles, AZ.

She was a convicted felon, and served 'time' at Alderson Penitentiary in West VA (the Martha Stuart jail) for transporting securities across state lines with her third "husband" (Julian Deal Sr). To date, there is no record of a legal divorce action between her second husband, Harry P McClure and herself, therefore all relationships labeled 'married' after 1947 may not be 'legal'.

She left her first child Geraldine with her first husband in NY. Her second child (female) was born in CA in 1947, and given up for adoption in Miami FL in 1950. Her subsequent three children (son Michael Shapiro, daughter Julie Gohring, son Jeffery Argrave - deceased) were the product of a relationship with a man name Deal, and were adopted to families in Louisiana, after she was incarcerated.

She eventually settled in Citrus Heights, CA with William P Shapiro and his elderly mother. After Bill's mother's death in CA in 1977, and her own mother's death in 1979, as the result of a car accident, she and Bill moved to FL.
