  • Notes  Died:
    • Clarence Lee Smith III, age 35, went home September 9, 2015. He is survived by his family: wife, Melody; daughter, Leandra; sons, Caleb and Josiah; brother, Tony; and mother, Helen.

Lee was a uniquely talented artist; both inspiring musician and gifted chef, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. He will be remembered for his extraordinary generosity and as a loving father who passed on his caring ways and big heart to his children. He will be truly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

"He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness...to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve...a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair." Isaiah 61:1b-3.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 12:00 p.m., and service to follow at 1:00 p.m., at Ives Dairy Road Baptist Church, 1121 NE 205th Street, Miami, Fl.

In lieu of flowers we ask that you make a donation and help the family in any way you can with all the unexpected this tragedy has caused. Every little bit helps. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Gregg L. Mason Funeral Home, Miami, FL
