      Frank C. Tusek, 91, of Williamsfield, passed away at 10:03 p.m., on Monday, May 15, 2017, at Knox County Nursing Home.

      He was born on May 26, 1925, in Farmington, to Joseph and Barbara (Cervocek) Tusek. They preceded him in death.

      He married Audrey Rock on October 7, 1950, in Checkrow, IL. She survives.

      Also surviving are one son, James (Chris) Tusek of Normal; one daughter-in-law, Karen Gibbs, three sisters, Ann (Sam) Weller, Mary (Don) Nickerson, and Julia (Harold) Reinsma; three grandchildren, Eric McCubbins, Jennifer (Matt) Linebrink, and Samantha (John) Phillips; and nine great-grandchildren.

      He was also preceded in death by one son, William John Tusek and two brothers, Joe and John.

      Frank served in the US Army. He retired from Maytag in 1986 after 25 years of service.

      He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Galesburg and past Deacon at Farmington Baptist Church.

      Frank enjoyed volunteering at Faith Bible Camp and taking mission trips to Florida where he helped build New Tribes Mission Homes.

      A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood, with a one hour visitation held prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Yates City Cemetery.

      Memorials may be made to Faith Bible Camp.
